Glass body jewelry is hand made of natural materials, so gauge, length, color and design may vary. Such differences are NOT considered a defect.
You can expect that you will receive a pair of jewelry (including each individual piece within the pair) that is within ½ mm of stated size for jewelry up to 1/2" gauge (12.5 mm) and within 1mm of stated size for jewelry larger than 1/2" gauge. If you receive a pair that is not an EXACT match, please know that is the best matched pair we had on hand.
The overall length of the wearable area is 1/2" long. This makes the wearable about 1/4" to 5/16" long depending on where you put the included black o-rings.
These are Non-Toxic, Non Radioactive, Non Carcinogenic, and Non hazardous according to the manufacturer of this special glass. The plugs need to be "charged", preferably with strong light, about 1 inch from artificial (florescent, incandescent, Halogen) light source. Black light and direct sunlight work too. The amount of glow time is determined by how long the glass was charged and how strong the light source is. They can hold a charge for up to 8-10 hrs with proper charging. They will glow brighter for the first 1-2 hours then hold a less intense glow for the rest of the night. It is suggested to charge them right before going into darkness. A portable LED flashlight or black-flashlight can recharge them on the go. The aqua glows a little bit brighter than the yellow/green.

these things are gorgeous! it was hard to get photos of the actual color they glow, but id suggest anyone who's had their eyes on these to pick them up. they are well worth it. the plugs themselves are flawless. perfect length for my inner conches, and not a blemish on them. the front flares are comfortable for my area of wear too. they hold a charge very well, and will glow with very little exposure. ive noticed sunlight and direct fluorescent lighting works well. I went outside at one point for maybe a minute, came inside, walked by a mirror in my hallway and couldn't miss the glow in the corner of my eye, and it was in the middle of the afternoon! like I said, these things are great. I'm glad there is an alternative to acrylic for glow in the dark jewelry now, and this alternative is a hundred times more awesome.
